GES Foundry Products Metallurgy Company operates in an area near Duzce 1st Organized Industrial Site, consisting indoor and outdoor areas of 12.000m2 including the factory and the administrative building. GES manufactures such products named as mini risers, exothermic / insulating feeder sleeves and cover powders which are used at iron, steel and other type of foundries. With an experience of 30 years regarding this issue, GES has become one of the two best prominent companies in this area. After moving to the new production site in 2014, GES has reached an annual production capacity of 12.000.000 items.
GES is also able to produce mini risers, exothermic and insulating feeder sleeves upon the special requests of customers at its advanced pattern shop easily within short time.
PRODUCTS
Mini Risers, due to their high exothermic features have much more feeding capacities compared to the Exothermic Feeders. Mini Risers are used in iron and steel casting and they are approximately 60-70% more productive compared to the Exothermic Feeders. Mini Risers, thanks to their unique structures can be used in production of the small and tight casting pieces where Exothermic Feeders can not be used easily.
The exothermic feeder sleeves produced by GES are used in iron and steel castings. Many different model Exothermic Feeders are being produced in GES. Apart from the standart production in various measures and shapes, Exothermic Feeders also can be produced upon the special requests of the customers in a short time.
During the casting process a coating powder named EXOPOWDER01 is produced that prevents shrinkages, provides high isolation by forming thin crust on the hot metal preventing fast cooling that expands by engaging in an instant reaction with the hot metal and that is applied on the feeder during the casting process.

Just after molten metal is poured into the casting mold, EXOPOWDER 01 is spilled on the head of ingot moulds.
It can be used for all types of steel and iron castings.
As soon as EXOPOWDER 01 is poured on the head of ingot moulds, it immediately starts to burn and
becomes a thin shell over the pouring gate therefore it prevents rapid cooling and formation of shrinkage and provides excellent insulation.
By high isolation characteristics of EXOPOWDER 01, it prevents potential inner shrinkages of casting part.

MANUFACTURING AND QUALITY
* GES Foundry Products Metallurgy Company since the day it's been founded carries out productions that are in compliance with ISO 9001-2008 - OHSAS 18001:2007 quality management systems.
* GES reached a production level of 12.000.000 pieces annually in it's new production facility that GES moved in 2014.
* Under two main groups consisting of mini risers and exothermic feeders and 11 different variety models with approximately 200 products; in it's chamber facility, GES is able to produce the mini risers and exothermic feeders sleeve chambers that are requested in special measures by the customers.
* During the casting process a coating powder named EXOPOWDER01 is produced that prevents shrinkages, provides high isolation by forming thin crust on the hot metal preventing fast cooling that expands by engaging in an instant reaction with the hot metal and that is applied on the feeder during the casting process.

* Operating with it's principal " Quality is not a destination, it's an ongoing process", GES provides elaborate quality inspections from the purchase of the raw materials and side elements in the production department to their delivery to the customer.
* Before the mass product_on, the products are tested in terms of temperature analysis and pressure resistance by expert lab crews.
* GES, before the mass production, with the expert personnels of the partner foundries, provides operation tests of the newly developed products in templates.
